Our History
Originally LegalDockets.com, Courtport.com has been a valuable tool for professional researchers since 2000. It was created by Paul Bush as an easy solution to quickly and inexpensively obtain court case information nationwide. Since its creation, it has continually grown and developed and is utilized by librarians, paralegals, attorneys, investigators, and others. In 2008 Courtport.com was released as a successor site to LegalDockets.com, built from the ground up using more efficient technology and effective features to provide the optimal user experience.

Paul’s extensive background and expert knowledge of litigation, bankruptcy, and corporate filing and retrieval serve him well as CEO of Courtport. Over the years, he’s been published in several legal periodicals including the National Law Journal, given lectures, including for the Practicing Law Institute, and authors our blog. Paul has gained his technical, research, and management experience over the last fifteen years from creating and managing Legal Dockets Online, and holding positions at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, CT Corporation, and IBM.

Gigi's professional career spans eighteen years over two continents in various industries, including more than nine years in IT and BPO consulting. His positions have included Application Architect, Business System Analyst, Technical Advisor, and Senior Software Engineer. Career highlights include work for Pfizer, Glaxo-SmithKline, Lockheed Martin, Comcast, and the University of Pennsylvania. His technical accomplishments include developing a unique "intelligent" (non rule-based) federal civil court docket web application, DocketDigest. Gigi also draws from his entrepreneurial and management experience in helping create startups Timecarrier.com, and traditional brick-and-mortar businesses Matage India, and GAMI LLC.

Paul has over twenty five years experience in providing consulting, taxation, and accounting services to U.S. and international clients. He has extensive experience in corporate finance and has assisted clients in obtaining both private and public funding. He has served as in house CFO to private companies, including several start ups, where he facilitated financial repositioning, contributing towards their successful sale. Additionally, he has created innovative financing opportunities for clients including in house leasing programs. His experience also includes due diligence, bank debt negotiations, corporate workouts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, and chief financial officer consulting services.
